About Us

Our company was founded in 1931 by Ray F. Snyder and was originally located on the Kirkland waterfront. Ray F. Snyder Co. enjoyed gradual growth and success as a fuel distributor for mainly Texaco, Arco, and Exxon stations in the Seattle metro area. In 2000, the company was sold when Texaco was bought by Shell. The heating oil segment of the business continued on as Snyder Discount Oil Co. until the fall of 2018, when it was acquired by Green Brothers Oil and became Snyder Green. Snyder Green now specializes in on-site delivery of diesel, gasoline, heating oil, and other petroleum products across the Puget Sound region.
